Simone Biles talks to CNN about her LA28 prospects, mental health journey and life as an NFL 'WAG'
Simone Biles, the most decorated gymnast in history, has told CNN’s Amanda Davies it's “50-50" as to whether she'll compete at the 2028 Olympics in Los Angeles, saying her mental health will be one of the key factors in her decision-making. In an interview at the recent Laureus World Sports Awards in Madrid, the 11-time Olympic medalist reflected on her experience of ’the twisties’ at the Tokyo Games in 2021, acknowledging it marked a pivotal moment in opening up the global conversation on mental health and helping her to "get the therapy that I deserved” — something she's still undertaking to this day. Biles is also now embracing the world of American Football, thanks to her husband Jonathan Owens who recently signed a one-year contract with the Indianapolis Colts.
